The Department of Accounting and Management Information Systems in the Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics at the University of Delaware invites applications for a tenure-track position in MIS. The beginning date for the position is August 2024.

 

Candidates must possess a Ph.D in Management Information Systems and pursue a high-quality research program with the objective of publishing in top-tier journals in the field.  We are seeking outstanding candidates with interests in developing novel AI and machine learning methods to solve problems in the field of FinTech.  Candidates must also demonstrate potential for high-quality teaching. Primary teaching responsibility is in various areas of Information Systems at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels. The teaching load will initially be three courses per year, and junior faculty are given minimal service requirements.

Ideal candidates have a record of publishing in top journals at rank and evidence of highly effective teaching in graduate and/or undergraduate courses.
