The Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Delaware is a thriving academic unit recently ranked #1 in the nation by US News & World Report. The State-of-the-art Health Sciences Complex opened in January 2014 on the University’s new Science Technology & Advanced Research (STAR) Campus. The complex brings students, researchers, clinicians, and the community together to address some of the most pressing healthcare questions of our time. The STAR Campus fosters connections to the community, inter-professional training of students, and collaborative research between faculty and clinicians.
Under the limited direction of the Director and Associate Director of the DPT Program, the Associate Director of Clinical Education is responsible for all administrative aspects of the clinical education component of the DPT program. This position provides leadership to numerous clinical faculty and professionals by managing the daily operations associated with clinical education, an integral component of the University of Delaware's DPT curriculum. The Associate Director of Clinical Education will be responsible for managing all components related to clinical education, maintaining affiliations with over 300 clinical sites throughout the United States, and placing and monitoring physical therapy students in over 150 internships each year. |

TEMPORARY ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF POLITICAL SCIENCE, COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIENCES
The Department of Political Science and International Relations in the College of Arts and Sciences Delaware invites applications for a Temporary Assistant Professor of Political Science. The effective start date is August 16, 2023. This is a teaching-focused position with an expected course load of seven classes across the academic year. Initial appointment will be for one year with the possibility of renewal for up to two more years, subject to satisfactory performance, departmental needs and availability of funding. Temporary faculty in the Department of Political Science and International Relations receive support for conference travel and may be eligible to compete for other funding from the department.
We seek a scholar who can contribute to our undergraduate teaching in a combination of the following areas: human rights, global migration, terrorism, Mid-East politics, and the Arab-Israeli conflict. We are open to scholars approaching these issues from the standpoint of comparative politics, international relations, and/or political theory.
Ph.D. is expected to be in hand by September 1, 2023. Applicants who are ABD will be considered, but must have a granted Ph.D. upon arrival. Applicants must be able to demonstrate the skills and capacity necessary for excellence in teaching in one or more of the specific areas listed.
