Research Associate I, Center for Health Assessment Research and Translation (CHART) Remote
The Center for Health Assessment Research and Translation (CHART) at the University of Delaware (udel.edu/chart) has an opening (start summer 2023) for a full-time research associate to assist our research faculty and scientists in carrying out grant-funded research projects. The Center aims to improve the quality of healthcare and quality of life for rehabilitation populations and individuals with traumatic injury by improving patient assessment tools and practices. In particular, our team of psychologists and psychometricians studies the science and practice of outcomes measurement. CHART is funded through grants from the National Institutes of Health, the U.S. Department of Defense, and private foundations.

The Pre-Press Technician will Under limited supervision, independently performs typesetting, layout, and design of a wide variety of internal University publications. The principal emphasis is producing finished artwork and visual materials for reproduction purposes in the print media using graphic software and equipment. Post Doctoral Researcher, Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering and GSK Newark
The Post Doctoral Researcher will work with Prof. Norman Wagner of the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering of the University of Delaware along with scientists from an industrial sponsor (GSK) to establish conditions under which difficulties occur in the syringability of suspensions characteristic of injectable formulations and develop methods to mitigate such issues. This will be achieved in part through rheological, microfluidic, rheo-SALS/SAS/SANS and allied methods development and implementation. General strategies to reduce the viscosity of highly concentrated suspensions will be explored. This is a one-year industrially funded project to be performed at the University of Delaware, with the possibility of extension.
