The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at University of Delaware ( invites applications from talented scholars interested in teaching in the core areas of Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and Construction Engineering and Management.  We are looking to fill a position as a visiting assistant professor that is primarily teaching and service oriented for spring 2020.  Candidates must have an earned doctoral degree in civil engineering. Professional registration or the potential to obtain registration is desirable.  Successful candidates must have exceptional qualifications and be capable of developing outstanding teaching programs.  Responsibilities includes classes in probability and statistics, classes in soil mechanics, and laboratory classes in civil engineering materials and soil mechanics equivalent. The position includes a teaching load of 2 classes per semester.  The appointment will be for two years.
