Context of job:

The Coordinator, Ticket Operations, Analytics & Database Management reports to the Assistant Athletic Director, Ticket Operations. This position’s main responsibilities are managing the overall and day-to-day database maintenance and administration for the ticketing and CRM software systems, overseeing the financial reporting of ticket sales and developing data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize ticket sales and revenue.

This position requires a flexible work schedule, including late evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Provide the Sales & Service department with related database needs and oversee the data/report request process, such as email communication lists, mailing lists, phone call campaigns, marketing automation campaigns, etc.  Collaborate with marketing team to create segments for bulk emails.
  • Develop and implement new ideas on how to utilize CRM to increase revenue for Sales & Service department.  Oversees maintenance of files, database, and reporting for ticketing and CRM software.  Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems and performance metrics that support ticket sales and revenue.
  • Daily accounting and reporting of ticket revenue, operator sales, daily reconciliation and cash transmittals.  Process monthly transfer of revenue journal vouchers for UD departments who purchase tickets to athletic events.  Serve as the petty cash custodian for Sales & Service department.
  • Primary supervisor of ticket operations and sales for Women’s Basketball and Men’s Lacrosse, including post-season and special events.  Secondary supervisor for football and external events. 
  • Manage all software and hardware (scanners, printers, sales terminals) inventory and maintenance.  Analyze and implement policies and procedures as it relates to PCI Compliance, including credit card machine maintenance.
  • Assist in the supervision and coordination of the operation of the Delaware Ticket Office:
  • Implement and monitor the policies and procedures.
  • Monitor work performance of part-time ticket office staff to ensure accuracy and compliance to established policies and procedures.
  • Prepare ticketing reports as required.
  • Responsible for all facets of daily operation of ticketing system.
  • Assist with the administration of accounting and auditing controls over all tickets as required by internal and external auditors.
  • Ensure the control and distribution of all tickets in accordance with established policies and procedures and NCAA rules and regulations.
  • Assist in the implementation of customer service and retention strategies in order to deliver consistently positive service and exceed set goals in annual ticket sales revenue.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Sales & Service.


  • Bachelor’s degree and two years working experience in athletic ticketing, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of the principals and practices of office management. 
  • Knowledge of unit programs, policies and procedures preferred.
  • Ability to communicate and interact well with people of all ages and diverse backgrounds in a customer service setting.
