Tenure-Track Assistant Professor, Electrical and Computer Engineering	Newark
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the University of Delaware (UD) invites applications for a full-time tenure-track assistant professor position to begin August 2025. The search seeks candidates conducting research in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in domains including cybersecurity, networks, communications, controls and dynamical systems, and information sciences. Fundamental advancements in algorithms or implementation are highly encouraged, as are additional multidisciplinary interests that explore connections with topics or fields such as biology, healthcare, mathematics, statistics, physics, nanotechnology, chip design, advanced manufacturing, software security, and autonomous, computer, cyber-physical, robotics, and energy systems.
Open Rank Professor (Continuing Track) Biomedical Engineering	Newark
The Biomedical Engineering Department (BME, www.bme.udel.edu) at the University of Delaware (UD) invites applications for a Continuing Track faculty position. This is an open-rank search and excellent candidates above the assistant professor rank will also be considered. This position will have a workload consisting of 75% teaching, 15% service, and 10% research (with ratios subject to change based on departmental needs). The ideal candidate for this position will be qualified to teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate level in the areas of biomedical systems modeling, instrumentation, imaging, and data analysis. This position will also support the department’s new online Master’s program in pharmaceutical modeling, scheduled to launch in Fall 2025.
