The primary responsibility of this position is to support the department’s undergraduate teaching needs in speech-language pathology. The successful candidate will be expected to teach a minimum of three courses per semester from the following list: Introduction to Speech and Hearing Science; First Language Development; Anatomy and Physiology of Speech and Hearing; Introduction to Communication Disorders in Childhood; Introduction to Communication Disorders in Adulthood, and Clinical Principles and Procedures in Speech-Language Pathology. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and is also expected to contribute to diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts within the department and the university. The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree or a Ph.D. in speech-language pathology, or a related field. A Ph.D. as well as clinical certification in speech-language pathology (CCC-SLP) and prior teaching experience are preferred.
