Assistant Professor, Department of Linguistics and Cognitive Science Newark
Temporary Assistant Professor, Department of Linguistics and Cognitive Science The Department of Linguistics and Cognitive Science at the University of Delaware invites applications for a temporary assistant professor, to support the Department's teaching and advising needs. The appointment is expected to begin on August 16, 2024, and will run until August 31, 2025, with the possibility of renewal for up to a maximum of three years. We are seeking a candidate who demonstrates a strong commitment to undergraduate education. The primary responsibility of this position is to support the Department’s programs in Cognitive Science and Linguistics. Expertise in language acquisition and/or cognitive science is desirable. The successful candidate will be expected to teach a subset of the following courses: Introduction to Cognitive Science; Introduction to Linguistics; First Language Development; Topics in Cognitive Science; Psycholinguistics. Also desirable are Second Language Acquisition and Bilingualism; Structure of English; Sociolinguistics; Languages of the World. The successful candidate is also expected to demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts within the department and the university. Applicants for this position should have a PhD in linguistics, cognitive science, or a related field. Physical Therapist III Newark
The Staff Physical Therapist is involved in direct patient care of patients in the University of Delaware Physical Therapy Clinic. The Physical therapist is an integral component of the physical therapy clinic and physical therapy department.
