Context of the Job:
Reporting to the Team Lead/Assistant Director of the HR Hub, the Human Resources Generalist is responsible for providing a client-focused approach for any HR-related activities. This role supports various HR functions, including, but not limited to: onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, risk mitigation, HR-related problem-solving, and payroll processes. The HR Generalist plays a key part in ensuring a smooth employee experience, accurate data management, and positive employee relationships with the HR department. They will collaborate with team members to enhance HR processes, build trusted connections, and maintain compliance with organizational policies. This role is pivotal in fostering an engaged and supportive environment for employees, ensuring their needs are met with respect and professionalism.
HR Processes & Data Management:

Take the lead on executing HR-related processes, including but not limited to JED’s, Position Change Forms, Supervisor Updates, Pay additional assignments, S-contracts, etc.

Help facilitate HR processes, including but not limited to SEMU, grad turnaround, and auto term, to maintain accurate employee records and compliance with organizational standards.
Employee Support & Relations:

Coordinate onboarding activities for full-time employees, including orientation sessions, training programs, and documentation processing.
Visa & Compliance Management:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred and a minimum of 3 years of HR experience, with a focus on onboarding, payroll, or employee relations, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
