The Center for Excellence and Equity in Teacher Preparation (CEETP) is located in the College of Education and Human Development at the University of Delaware. CEETP provides support services to professional education candidates, faculty, and staff in more than 20 educator preparation programs (EPPs) at the University. These undergraduate and graduate programs are located in five of the seven colleges across campus and include approximately 1,500 candidates and approximately 100 faculty and staff. The candidates are in programs in which they could become eligible for certification as a professional educator when they graduate. |

School Psychologist, Mental Health Grant Coordinator

The Psychologist will contribute to leading a multi-year grant funded by the U.S. Department of Education that will integrate and evaluate state-wide, cross-university efforts to advance school mental health service provider recruitment, preparation, practice, and retention in high-need schools across Delaware. Concurrently, this project will target the adoption and sustained use of inclusive practices and equity-focused data-based decision-making within multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) in Delaware schools. The Psychologist will play key roles in (a) supervising graduate students in traineeships related to public outreach, direct service delivery, indirect service delivery, and applied research, respectively; (b) collaborating with personnel from the University of Delaware Center for Disabilities Studies (CDS) to direct MTSS training, technical assistance, and coaching to Delaware schools; and (c) facilitating project administration, evaluation, and dissemination activities. |
