Psychological Assistant, Sports Performance Team

| The UD Sport Psychology team is responsible for providing mental health, counseling, and mental performance services to our 21 varsity programs, consulting with our coaches and staff members, and developing and presenting workshops for multiple audiences. The Psychological Assistant, Sport is a member of the Center for Counseling and Student Development, embedded in athletics with the other two sport psychologists.
The Psychological Assistant, Sport position is designed for an early career psychologist who is accruing hours for licensure, requires supervision, and has a specialization in working with athletes. The position is a one-year contract that can be renewed one time, for a total of two years in the position, allowing time to accrue sufficient hours for licensure as a psychologist in Delaware, sit for the licensing exam (EPPP), and become licensed as a psychologist.
