Earth Science Web Database Developer	Newark
The Delaware Geological Survey (DGS) is a science-based, public-service-driven Delaware state agency at the University of Delaware (UD) that conducts geologic and hydrologic research, service, and exploration for the benefit of the citizens of the First State. The mission of the DGS is to provide objective earth science information, advice, and service to the public, policy makers, industries, and educational institutions of the state. Technological advancements are transforming the way our stakeholders interact with information; the Web Database Developer will support the DGS mission in web-based geospatial solutions for data and product delivery. This position will work with DGS geoscientists and IT staff in the development and maintenance of geospatially oriented data systems, web applications, and associated cloud services that facilitate efficient and effective online delivery of geological, hydrological, and geographical data to agency stakeholders.
