OLLI-W delivers over 600 classes annually to approximately 3000 dues-paying members and has an annual operating budget of $1.7M. Under the general direction of the Director, the Program Coordinator works closely with the Institute’s Curriculum Committee to oversee the development, implementation, and administration of this dynamic non-credit program, with more than 250 enthusiastic, creative, and energetic volunteer instructors teaching each fall and spring semester and during summer session. Responsible for in-person curriculum, housed in Wilmington and Newark, the Wilmington program coordinator will work in collaboration with a program coordinator in Kent/Sussex Counties and an online program coordinator. Program management, employee management and experience with customer service or senior populations, coupled with exceptional customer service skills are necessary for a candidate to be successful in this position. Commitment to a team-based approach and the ability to prioritize tasks and function in a fast-paced workplace are key. |
